Dec. 5th 2010
Our 4th annual december dinner was a beautiful celebration of food, wine & friends. We tasted 5 different vintages paired perfectly by the Zazu team. My personal favorite was 2006 TnT Pinot with beet agnolotti!

Just finished tasting a few of the 2010 Pinot's in barrel. Amazing!
The Horseshoe Bend was most mellow dark fruit berry smooth. TNT showed intense red fruits with gripping acidity and wonderful layers, Ruxton most structured with dark deep fruit characters, intense flavors.
YUM!
Thanks to our wine club members for coming to visit from New Jersey & getting us out on this rainy saturday to taste!

Ruxton Vineyard Wednesday 11th looked about 30% veraison
Ruxton Vineyard Saturday 14th about 80% veraison.
Amazing that in 3 days that much color change in the grapes.
Temperature not exceeding high 70's.
Valdiguie Vineyard has very little veraison. Oh, OH! Thanksgiving?
Harvest looks at least 2 weeks behind last year.
