JANUARY 2009
We have had several guests come by and taste the 2008 wines out of barrel with us.
Horseshoe Bend & TnT are showing the most promising at this time.
Here are our tasting notes;
Horseshoe Bend Vineyard
Ripe raspberry, watermelon up front fruit with a touch of vanilla. Big mid palate of
rich red fruits and a full fruit finish.
TnT Vineyard
Boysenberry, pomegranate & cherry nose with a rich raspberry & cherry flavor profile.
Ruxton Vineyard
Wild strawberry & canteloupe nose with soft cherry on the palate finishing with
sandalwood, cherry & an earthiness.
We are really excited about the 2008 wines.

Oct. 15th
We have been experiencing a great Indian summer, beautiful sunny days in the mid 70's consistently since October 1.
Mat went to look at the Gamay vineyard today and reports that it is still not fully ripe to pick. The Gamay is always the last vineyard to come in and this year due to the general early ripening, the gamay will be much later than all else. Still looks like a week to 10 days before we'll pick.
All Pinot's are in barrel.
